Behind the bay: how Champkey started

We began on a workbench. A handful of golfers kept asking one of us to regrip their clubs, we kept running out of grips worth putting on, and so we started making our own.

The grips led to the question that still runs the company: what makes practice at home feel like golf? The answer was turf that behaves like a fairway, a putting surface that rolls true, tees that set the ball at the same height and training aids that give one clear piece of feedback.

What we make

Golf hitting mats, indoor putting greens, chipping nets and practice balls, swing trainers, golf grips and regripping tools, golf tees, travel bags and course accessories. Many products carry patent applications in the US, Canada, Japan and the UK.
