Choosing golf tees

A tee looks like the simplest piece of golf equipment, yet tee height decides launch and spin on every drive. We make golf tees for each surface and setup: plastic prong tees that touch the ball at a few points to cut side spin, bamboo tees that outlast wood and break down when they finally go, rubber tees for range mats, and colour-coded simulator tees that sit on top of a hitting mat.

Look for our height systems. Step tees stop at the same depth, stop-ring tees lock in a 1.75" driver height, and star-and-stripe markings give you a visual scale. Most packs mix long and short tees, so drivers, hybrids and irons are covered in one bag pocket.

Golf Tees questions

Do prong golf tees really add distance?

Prong heads reduce contact and friction with the ball, which can lower side spin. The bigger gain for most golfers is a consistent tee height.

Which tees should I use on a hitting mat?

Rubber tees or the rubber tee holder that ships with our turf mats; for simulator mats, our simulator tees sit on top without drilling.
